Booking Terms & Cancellation Policy

1. Booking & deposit

To confirm your reservation, you pay a deposit online at the time of booking. The deposit is part of the total price of your stay — it is not an extra fee. The remaining balance is paid at the hotel on arrival. Prices are shown in euro (EUR), with the Bulgarian lev (BGN) amount shown for reference.

2. Your deposit is non-refundable — but it is never lost

The deposit is non-refundable and will not be returned as a cash refund. However, your money is never lost. If you cannot travel on your reserved dates, simply let us know by phone or email before your arrival. Instead of cancelling your booking, we preserve the value of your deposit and the number of nights you reserved, so you can use them for another stay whenever it suits you (subject to availability). Book 5 nights and you keep 5 nights of holiday — no matter what.

3. Changing or moving your dates

You may move your reserved nights to different dates at any time by contacting us. You always keep the number of nights you originally booked, and you always pay the standard rate for the period you actually stay: • If your new dates fall in a higher-priced period (for example, moving from low to high season), you pay only the difference before your new stay. • If your new dates fall in a lower-priced period, you are charged less, and the difference is credited toward your stay or kept as credit for a future booking. • Your deposit is only ever reassigned to your new dates — it is never forfeited. In short: you always pay the correct standard value of the period you stay, and your deposit always counts toward it.

4. How to let us know

To move your dates or tell us you cannot make it, contact us as early as possible — and always before your check-in date — by phone at +359 554 221 64 or by email at reservk@abv.bg. Please include your name and booking reference. We will confirm your preserved nights and any price difference in writing.

5. No-show

If you do not arrive and have not contacted us, your reserved nights are still held for you under the same terms — your deposit and nights are preserved for future use. We simply ask that you tell us as soon as you can, so we can offer the room to other guests and help you rebook.

6. Payment & balance

The deposit is paid securely online by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. The remaining balance for your stay is payable at the hotel on arrival. Any price difference for changed dates is payable before the new stay begins.

7. Check-in & check-out

Check-in is from 14:00 and check-out is until 12:00. Early check-in and late check-out may be available on request, subject to availability.

8. Right of withdrawal

As an accommodation service booked for specific dates, this reservation is exempt from the standard EU 14-day right of withdrawal under Article 16(l) of Directive 2011/83/EU. The flexible date-change terms above apply instead, and are designed to protect the value of your booking.

9. Force majeure

If events beyond the control of either party — such as natural disasters, government travel restrictions or other extraordinary and unavoidable circumstances — prevent your stay, normal terms do not apply. In these cases your deposit and reserved nights are preserved without penalty, to be used on alternative dates. Please notify us in writing within a reasonable time.

10. Liability

Guests are responsible for any damage caused to the room or hotel property during their stay. The hotel is not liable for loss of or damage to personal belongings, except where caused by our negligence as required by law.

11. Data protection

We collect only the information needed to process your booking — your name, contact details, stay dates and payment data — and handle it in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Your details are never sold. Payment is processed securely by our payment provider.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Bulgaria. For cross-border consumer disputes, you may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

Eurovision 2027 near Burgas: €150 a night

In August 2026 the media reported Burgas stays from several hundred to over €4,000 a night, and 98–99% of listings taken for show week.

With us the price is €150 a night with breakfast, including Grand Final night. The rooms, though, are limited: one hotel, 115 double rooms, against tens of thousands of visitors.

Why fans are looking at Sunny Beach for Eurovision 2027

Burgas is a city of about 200,000 people, and Eurovision brings tens of thousands of visitors in a single week, so the city cannot house everyone who wants to be there. Bulgarian media reported in August 2026 that almost all Burgas listings already showed as unavailable for 11–16 May, and that some remaining ones had reached several thousand euros a night.

Sunny Beach is the largest resort on the Bulgarian Black Sea coast, 35 km north of Burgas, on a road that runs straight to the city. In May the resort is quiet, the weather is mild (daytime highs around 22 °C) and the beach is empty, which is exactly what you want between show nights.

Golden Dune sits in the southern, quieter part of Sunny Beach, 50 metres from the beach dunes. Reception is open around the clock, so a late return from the Grand Final is nothing unusual.

Getting to Arena Burgas from Sunny Beach

Arena Burgas is in the Izgrev district on the northern edge of the city — the side facing Sunny Beach. That makes the hotel-to-arena trip about 35 km, or 35–40 minutes by car, with no need to cross the city centre.

Taxi

On request, the hotel arranges a taxi to Arena Burgas and back after the show. Let reception know in advance.

Bus

Coaches between Sunny Beach and Burgas bus station take 50–60 minutes and cost about €5. Services are less frequent at night, so plan on a taxi after the shows.

Car

Free parking at the hotel. Take the E87 south towards Burgas; the arena is signposted from the northern ring road.

Flying in? Burgas Airport (BOJ) is 26 km from the hotel, about 25 minutes by taxi — closer to us than to the city centre. Varna Airport is 130 km away.

The hotel in May 2027

Golden Dune (formerly Hotel Kavkaz) is a 4-star hotel that normally runs all-inclusive from late May to September. For Eurovision we open on 1 May, with breakfast every morning included in the price.

Rooms are doubles or twins with balcony, air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, safe, minibar and a shower room. A third bed can be added for a child or a third adult. All rooms are non-smoking.

How much does a hotel room near Burgas cost during Eurovision 2027?

At Golden Dune a double room with breakfast costs €150 a night for two adults, €240 for three adults, and €213 for two adults and a child aged 2 to 12; children under 2 stay free. Minimum stay three nights.

Will the price drop closer to the show?

No. It will not go below €150; only the number of free rooms goes down.

Can I change my dates?

Yes. You can move your booking to other dates by contacting us. Your deposit moves with you, and you pay the rate of the period you actually stay. The deposit itself is non-refundable.

Is the hotel open during Eurovision week?

Yes. We open on 1 May 2027 for the contest, with reception open 24 hours and breakfast every morning.

No — in May 2027 the price includes breakfast only. Our all-inclusive summer rates start on 1 June.
